A site visit to the Liberty Steel Mill offers the opportunity to see a state of the art steel manufacturing operation and hear about key focus areas such as:

• Liberty OneSteel’s core values: FAMILY, SUSTAINABILITY & CHANGE;
• Environmental efforts to reduce energy and waste by utilising Polymer Injection Technology which partially substitutes the use of coke with polymers, including rubber, as analternate carbon injectant to product foaming slag in Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steelmaking; and
• Production of a diverse product range supplying markets including steel in concrete, mining, automotive and engineering applications.
